Description
The YF-S201 Water Flow Sensor is a compact and practical device designed to measure the flow of water through a pipe. It uses an internal rotor and Hall-effect sensing mechanism to detect water movement and generate electrical pulses corresponding to the flow rate.
With a working flow range of approximately 1–30 L/min and a maximum water pressure of up to 1.75 MPa, this sensor is suitable for a variety of water-monitoring and automation applications. Its threaded inlet and outlet make it convenient to integrate into compatible plumbing or tubing systems.
The sensor provides a simple three-wire interface, typically consisting of power, ground, and pulse-output connections. The pulse signal can be read by an Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi interface, or other compatible microcontroller to calculate water flow and monitor water usage.
